Marta Martín Amor is PhD candidate at the University of Alcalá, where she obtained her undergraduate degree in English Studies, as well as a masters in Research in Contemporary Anglophone and Hispanic Literatures. She currently enjoys a predoctoral contract (FPI) at the same university, while carrying out her doctoral thesis, which focuses on contemporary Irish feminist drama, particularly on the works of female playwrights. So far, her research interests include Irish and British fiction –the historical novel in particular–, Theatre Studies, and Gender Studies and Feminism.
